The combination of beautiful Hickory on the long ends, 2 slices of Hard Maple before a thick slice of Black Walnut with a rich Purple Heart center straddled by 2 more lengths of Hard Maple makes this a conversation piece as much as a very useful cutting board.

With softly routed ends and edges and sanded to such a fine finish, it has a silky feel to it even before we let it drink in 2 rich coats of food grade mineral oil !
